iPhone: add badge to icons internal to my app -

I'm trying to add an icon badge to my app. Like in the Facebook app, the number of pending requests in the home page is shown on the request icon.

I know that This article is a bit old, but it recently helped me create a small class to create custom badges I thought it would be appropriate for everyone to make this category public. So here it is.
