Postgresql compiled from source WAL file compatibility with ubuntu package -

Forgive my ignorance.

Is it possible to use the files made by PostGrassCloud compiled from the source (version 8.3.5) a Ubuntu PostGrasecl Package (8.3.4)?

This depends on the compilation options.

Normally - is it the same architecture (same OS, 32/64 bit?), And "integer dataset" setgreses on the same value set to both? If yes - this should work.
