Is there a good source information on the software business (in the US)? Specifically, I am looking for such things:

  1. The number of people employed in the software business (not just developers, but also fellow employees)
  2. Break Current Software Developer Workforce's Age, Gender, etc.
  3. Number of businesses whose primary product is software development.
  4. The number of universities offering BS, MS, PhD in computer science.

You get the idea ... I know that this information is scattered on different websites, but I wanted to know whether there was a single source that "All the data on the computer software industry "Was.

I have a strange problem that I really do not know. In addition to developing a new ASP.NET site, I have to support the old "classic ASP" site.
